Editing Agent is Stuck on Reading Current Content

When I work on a large text (>1000 chars) I sometimes highlight a specific block, attach it to the chat, and ask Spiral to rewrite it.

First edits usually work fine. But then, at some point, it stops making any changes to the text.

It just keeps repeating “let me read the current content…” and it tries like 5 times to do the same thing, and eventually just stops, never making it to the writing part.

If I retry, the same thing keeps happening, and I wasn’t able to generate anything afterwards. No other prompts seem to work in this chat since it fell into that “stuck” mode.

This is frustrating because I then need to transfer my draft to a separate chat, copy my prompt, etc. So I can start with a fresh chat, but with the same context. And then the agent starts applying changes again.
