STOP rewriting inline!

Just my two cents, but it drives me absolutely nuts that things get rewritten in-line when I want to be able to refer to previous drafts! I always tell it to give me new drafts, but every once in a while I forget, and then it screws everything up because I can't recover what was there before. Please, please, please consider giving us the ability to toggle off this setting so that we are always getting new drafts. Please! X-D
